Back in the day, when people walked through the neighborhood, we would speak to people sitting on their front porch. The porch was the place to people watch and meet and greet your neighbor. As a child, it was the vantage point from which to watch the world go by.

Meeting God in Worship
There are times when words alone can not express the heart's experience of worship. That is how I felt Sunday. Our children's praise dancers had just finished an upbeat praise song. They had pulled people out of the pews to dance with them in the aisles. Then they danced to Israel Houghton's Alpha and Omega. They waved their colorful flags in slow motion over the congregation. I was transfixed by how the presence of the Lord filled the sanctuary. Indescribable but worth communicating to you who read this blog. Moments like this come suddenly and bless. Thank you Lord.
