Why do people come to church? I believe one reason is to change their thinking. We have so many Christians who come to Christ but keep old belief systems. Here is an excerpt from my sermon: Mindset Boot Camp.
The Word of God wants to change your belief system. The Word of God says, greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the World The Word of God says, I am more than a conqueror. The Word of God says, I can speak to the mountain and it will move. The Word of God says, I have the power to tread on serpents and scorpions. The Word of God says, The devil is under my feet. The Word of God says, when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard against him. The Word of God says, when the wicked came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an army encamp against me My heart shall not fear, though war may rise against me, in this will I be confident. The Word of God says, when I go through the flood, it shall not overwhelm me, when I go through the fire, it will not consume me.
The Word of God says, God is my rock, God is my redeemer, God is my deliverer, God is my battle axe, God is my strong tower, God is my leaning post, God is my judge, God is my Savior, God is my bridge, God is my manna, God is my water in dry places, God is my wilderness keeper, God is my all in all.
The Word of God wants to change your belief system. In the sick room, God is my doctor. In the hospital, God is my healer. In the court room, God is my lawyer. In the workplace, God is my promotion. In my finances, God is my banker. In my family, God is my father and mother. In my weakness, God is my strength. In my distress, God is my helper. In my grief, God is my comforter. In my tests, God is my miracle worker. In my tribulations, God is the lifter up of my head.
What do you believe? I believe, I can Do all things through Christ.
